A Collaborative, Strengths-Based and Mindful Approach to Counseling
With over 25 years of experience practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and overall self-doubt due to a variety of life experiences and transitions they've faced. Many of my clients appear to “have it all together,” yet often feel stuck, struggling to trust their own thoughts and feelings, make decisions and/or find joy in life.
My style is collaborative, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered. I draw from practices informed by both cognitive behavioral and mindfulness-based somatic therapies, allowing for a greater connection between the mind and body with a focus on slowing down and becoming curious about what’s happening in the present moment. Together, we will work to find new ways to respond to the challenges in your life.
I am able to accept many different insurance plans, but every plan is different. I encourage anyone interested in working with me to reach out directly to their insurance provider regarding their specific mental health benefits.
