A Collaborative, Strengths-Based and Mindful Approach to Counseling
With over 25 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, grief, and self-doubt. Many of my clients appear to “have it all together,” yet often feel stuck internally as they struggle to trust their own thoughts and feelings, making it difficult to experience any joy.
My style is collaborative, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered. I draw from practices informed by Hakomi mindfulness-based somatic psychotherapy, which allows for a focus on slowing down and becoming more present with what’s happening right now in the mind and body. Together, we will explore new ways to respond to life’s challenges, and over time, many clients report they feel lighter, more content and more confident.
